Itinerary
7.00 am: we will pick you up from your hotel.
After a short drive along the provincial roads on the Southern region of Vietnam through paddy rice-fields, pine-apple plantation, orchard and small hamlets we will get to My Tho.
My Tho is the capital city and municipality of the Tien Giang Province in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam. It has a population of approximately 160,000.
As the regional capital, My Tho is the main market dealing in all the produce from the region as well as fish & seafood from My Tho's large ocean going fishing fleet. The very large & exuberant market is one of South Vietnam's biggest sources for dried fish & other dried seafood products such as Kho Muc - dried squid. At nighttime the market is dedicated to the dealing & sorting of Mekong river fish -particularly catfish for HCMC's wholesale markets. Produce especially fruit & vegetable is delivered by boat directly to the market.
After check-in to our hotel, we will start our trip to discover the Mekong Delta by taking a boat across the river to visit some islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Turtle. A chance for you to view floating fish farms, fleet of fishing boats, stilt houses and boat building factory. We will have lunch on board before getting off the boat to visit coconut candy maker’s, have a walk through fruit gardens, then take a horse-drawn cart along the country road to visit a local house, where you will experience the way of bee-keeping. You will enjoy the local fruits from the garden, drinking green tea with honey while listening to the typical Vietnamese music. Then we will take the row boat through canals, coconut palm gardens to our boat to go back to the habour where the cyclos (bicycle rickshaws) awaits to take us around the town to discover My Tho.
We stay one night at the Chuong Duong Hotel on the river side.
In the morning we go on a boat trip on the Upper Mekong. The boat takes us along the Mekong Delta River up to Vinh Long. A geat time for you to relax on the hammocks on board and admire, experience the way of life of the local people who live on the Mekong River. A big chance for you to take memorial photos as well. We go kayaking along the small river branch where you can greet, chat to the local people.
Lunch is served on board with fresh seafood of shrimp, fish, noodle and vegetable...
After approaching Vinh Long Tourist Harbor we stroll through the colorful fruit and vegetable market nearby. Then stop for a coffee before we rejoin the bus to CAN THO.
Stay overnight in Can Tho
In the morning: A sampan boat brings us to through the Phong Dien and Cai Rang floating markets where hundreds of boats are packed with mango, bananas, papaya and pineapple… for selling, buying and exchanging. Later on we float through the contributory channels of the Lower Mekong and visit a rice noodle factory.
In the afternoon: Have lunch.
Depart for Ha Tien small town which share border with Cambodia.
Have dinner and overnight in Ha Tien.
06h30: Breakfast on floating restaurant along Dong Ho bay.
08h00: Take fast boat to Phu Quoc Island. Check in hotel, take a rest and have lunch.
In the afternoon:
This afternoon you will visit the North of Island: bus or motorbike along dirt-red road, through Phu Quoc primary forest with some stops to visit a pepper plantation, Ganh Dau – coastal border between Viet Nam and Cambodia. The journey is continued along the beautiful beaches with a stop at Long beach – one of ten most beautiful beach in the world, for relaxing, swimming, reading …
Back to Phu Quoc Town and visit Sim Wine Workshop.
Have dinner. Visit Dinh Cau night marker where you can enjoy fresh seafood. (Your own account) Overnight in Phu Quoc

Depart for discovering the South of Island,: visit fish sauce, pearl works and Ham Ninh Fishing Village, bath in cool waterfall (seasonal), swim in the crystal blue waters, bask in the warm sun or sip cocktails on unspoiled and tranquil beaches, visit pearl workshop…
In the afternoon:
Have dinner and overnight in Phu Quoc

Visit Duong Dong market, a nice way to get insight into the daily life of Phu Quoc Islanders, with many vendors in conial – palm hats selling fruits and vegetables in small baskets.
Take 12:15 PM flight back to Sai Gon. Arrive in Tan Son Nhat airport and googbye.
