Itinerary
ITINERARY
Your driver and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at 9.00 am. It takes us about 15 minutes to drive to the Ponagar Cham Towers (our first destination). These Cham Towers were built during 8th century to honour the goddess Ponagar considered to be the mother of mothers, the goddess of the country, who came to be identified with the Hindu goddesses Bhagavati and Mahishasuramardini. From the towers you see the panoramic views of the river meets the sea.
We then take a short walk to the boat station located right at the back of the Tower. Our boat takes us down to the Fishing Village, you will see fleet of fishing boat and learn how they do fishing and their way of life as well. We visit the Char-coal stove making village; Considered as Kichen God to all Vietnamese, so there is one stove in every family although gas cookers have been used abundantly nowadays. Tourists are told the legend of kichen God by craftmen to experience the fire culture in Vietnam.
We continue our trip to the Coconut Garden; Found through out the tropic and subtropic area, the coconut is known for its great versatility as seen in the many uses of its different part. Cocouts are part of the daily diets of many people. Coconuts are different from other fruits because they contain a large quantity of "water" and when immature they are known as tender-nuts or jelly-nuts and may be harvested for drinking. When mature, they still contain some water and can be used as seednuts or processed to give oil from the kernel, charcoal from the hard shell and coir from the fibrous husk. The endosperm is initially in its nuclear phase suspended within the coconut water and much ....Here you can watch your coconut being picked fresh from the tree just for you.
The next destination of our Nha Trang River Cruise is the Ancient House; Built 170 years ago, all Vietnamese houses built like this style, the layout is for 3 apartments by the 2 wings in which the middle one to worship ancestors with full- decoration of the altar while either side for bedrooms. The architecture is very typical of 36 pillars and roofed of zin and zen tiles, with a court at front for bonsai and planters in an exuberant orchard, succeeded 5 genrations to live in the house. Relax, enjoy sesonal local fruits and green tea then we join back our car/van along a country road to visit a Rush Mat weaving family business; How different it is for your bed equipment in different weather, view material and weaving. Mat is popular to all people in tropical weather. small mats are your present, as well.
Your lunch will be served to you at riverside restaurant with amazing panorama.
After lunch, you have a option of going to the Hot Spring Center where you can soak in mineral water and mud. Swimming pool with hot water will make you recover from the trip. (Budget is on your own arrangement)!
Then the bus will bring you back to your hotel. We will drop you off and bid you farewell.
