Itinerary
Pick up at your hotel/air-port in HCMC and transfer to Phan Thiet, a seaside fishing town facing the South China Sea. Visit the Big Sleeping Buddha (largest sleeping Buddha in Vietnam) at Ta Cu Mountain. Late afternoon visit to Mui Ne beach which is famous for its huge sand dunes. Dinner on guest's account. Overnight at a resort on Mui Ne beach.
Breakfast at resort. Before we continue our journey north this morning we will have the opportunity to visit Can Chan Fish Market and a Fish Sauce factory. We will also visit Van Thuy Tu, a local Whale Museum and Poshanu Cham towers, of ancient Cham empire. Later we visit the sand dunes of Mui Ne where we visit Fairy Stream, a beautiful stream that winds it's way through the dunes. You will have time here to go sand boarding if you wish.
Breakfast at hotel. Travel down the Cai River to observe the peaceful life of the villages along Nha Trang's waterway and witness the daily life of the local people. The trip begins with a visit to the Ponagar Temples. An outstanding example of Cham architecture, situated on Mount Cu Lao this hillside offers panoramic views of the surrounding. From here board the riverboat for the leisurely cruise cruise visiting Cu Lao Fish market. This fish market is the place where all the fishermen gather in early morning to deliver sea food which will be distributed all over markets in Nha Trang City. Tourists can drink coconut milk on coconut island. Take a horse carriage to visit a wide range of local handicrafts in production, tourists can enjoy the beautiful scenery that unfolds along the banks, experience and make acquaintance with local people in their natural scenery & daily life such as:
Rush mat weaving: Sedge mat is popular to all people in tropical weather. Two people working together will weave just four mats in a day, which will be taken to the local market and traded for food and other essentials. Tourists can try weaving.
Pagoda Orphanage: where it shelters and cares for over 120 abandoned, orphaned or street children. They range from several months to 9 years of age. The children of the orphanage are taken care of by a group of Buddhist nuns and volunteers. Their goal is to provide the children with a safe and caring environment which lessens their misfortune and gives their lives greater purpose and meaning. Being a private organization, the orphanage is trying to provide its children food, shelter, health and education. The nuns and volunteers at the orphanage have devoted their lives for the wonderful mission - helping the orphans.
Ancient house: visit a family and see a typical Vietnamese country house with your own eyes an ancestors' shrine, a kitchen. Enjoy fresh fruits and green tea. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch at a riverside restaurant with pastoral specialty. Relax and gain your health in Mud bathing at the Hot Spring Center.
Return to Nha Trang. Dinner on guest's account. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning our journey will take us through the picturesque coastal plains of Qui Nhon. Qui Nhon is a new travel destination known for it's relaxing and romantic seaside resorts where impeccable srevice can be found. We will visit Tay Son museum, famous for its show of traditional matial arts accompanied by battle drums.
After breakfast this morning we rejoin our bus and continue north towards Hoi An. On route we will visit My Son Holy Land, another example of the great architecture of the Cham people.
We drop you off at your hotel and bid you farewell.
