Itinerary
On arrival in Hanoi transfer to your hotel. You meet your tour leader here who will organise a pre-trip briefing, also you have the opportunity to meet your fellow travellers before a short walk to the epicentre of old Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake and Jade Hill. This enchanting body of water is one of Hanoi’s main attractions. We will then enjoy a Welcome dinner and the taste of Vietnam in one of the many local restaurants.

An early start this morning for our private bus transfer to the unmatched Halong Bay. Here we take a spectacular boat journey (private boat) through the breath-taking scenery of the 2000 limestone islands that have made Halong Bay. This World Heritage site is an essential experience. Here we will visit the families that call Halong Bays bamboo-thatched boats home, before enjoying a fantastic Seafood lunch and a swim in the beautiful tropical waters.
After lunch we will visit Sung-Sot-Grotto, Ti Tov mountain and enjoy a row boat ride among the limestone karsts. This evening we enjoy the spectacular peacefulness of Halong Bay from the comfort of a Junk, (double twin room with WC/Bathroom, A/C).
Overnight on Junk (Deluxe cabin).
After breakfast we will say goodbye to our crew, before joining the bus for our trip back to Hanoi. We will have lunch at one of many restaurants in Hanoi. The afternoon is free to enjoy this wonderful city before meeting up to enjoying a water puppet show before dinner.

Today our Vietnam featured tour will take us to the Historical sites of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Uncle Ho’s house, the One-Column-Pagoda (Chua mot cot), the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu, Vietnam’s first university) and the Maison Central (a prison dating back to the French colony).
We will stop for lunch at KOTO, a restaurant managed by former street kids.
In the afternoon we have time to explore the French Quarter, before an early dinner then our over-night train to Hue.

After arrival and transfer to our hotel, we will take a Cyclo ride to our lunch spot and the colourful market that is well-known for its Cai Non, Vietnamese cone hats. Later in the afternoon we take a tour to the Forbidden Imperial City, and visit the partly renovated Citadel. This was the emperor’s residence from 1802 until 1945. Although the most of the old Imperial City was bombed during the Tet Offensive in 1968, a visit is most worthwhile.
Tonight we will enjoy a traditional Imperial dinner at the famous Royal Park Restaurant.

Today we discover Hue’s most romantic side. A Boat trip on the Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda, the city’s oldest pagoda. After lunch on board, we visit the palace-like tomb of Emperor Minh Mang (second emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty) and then join the van or motorbikes (if you wish) to Khai Dinh tomb (last Emperor to be acknowledged by the Republican Government).
Our trusted Honda guides or van driver will then take us on an unforgettable tour to the Japanese Wood Bridge, a local market, and a wonderful tour through the green rice paddies - time seems to stand still here.

Today we will enjoy a stunning bus trip over the Cloud Pass to Danang, Hoi An. We will stop at Marble Mountains to enjoy the brilliant views of the four other Marble Mountains and China Beach, before we make our way to the Chinese-Japanese port town of Hoi An.

Exploring the old historic center on foot, we will visit the Japanese Bridge, merchants’ houses from the 16th and 18th century, Chinese temples and communal houses. After a short lunch break, we board a boat on the Thu Bon River, where we will visit Kim Bong Island and see the local craftsman at work.

After breakfast, we will take a bus to Danang International Airport for our flight to Nha Trang. After transfer and check in why not enjoy a swim at the 29th most beautiful bay of the world, Nha Trang Beach. In the afternoon a bus will take us to the Thap Ba Hot Spring Center.
Now, it is a great time for you to enjoy soaking in the nutrient-rich mud baths.

Today we will enjoy an Island hopping boat tour cruising the majestic waters of Nha Trang Bay. We will also enjoy a fresh seafood for lunch on board, before being trandferred back to our hotel mid afternoon.

Our Vietnam featured tour takes us into the backbone of Vietnam. Located just a short drive from the lovely beaches of Nha Trang, is the picturesque countryside. Here we will gain an insight into the everyday lives of the local farming community,learn how the local farmers and their buffalos work the rice paddies, and tend to their other crops, much of which makes its way to the local markets. We will see the many orchards and lotus ponds or even enjoy a chat with one of the many beautiful children that you are sure to see along the way. All this before shopping at the local market to pick up the ingredients for our cookery class. We spend the second half of the day cooking, eating and relaxing at Dat’s family house in the countryside.
We will take the over train to Saigon. Overnight on train (Private carriage with A/C and 04 soft sleepers)
After transferring to our hotel, and breakfast its time to explore this exciting city by foot, we will visit Notre Dam Cathedral, Main Post Office, City Hall and Ben Thanh Market.
We have lunch at Com Tam Saigon (Broken Rice Restaurant).
Tonight we have a Farewell Party on the cruise on the Saigon River.
